Is Tomcabs free?

Yes, for a solo owner-driver. Tomcabs is €0 per month, permanently, for a company with one person and one active taxi. It is not a trial: there is no expiry date and no credit card is required to sign up or to keep using it.

Is the free plan a trial or a limited version?

Accepted Answer

Neither. The free plan has no time limit and no reduced feature set. Shifts, races, payment-method breakdowns, expenses, road sheets, balances, documents and activity history all work exactly as they do on a paid plan. Paid plans raise the people and vehicle limits rather than unlocking features.

What exactly is included in the free plan?

One person in the workspace and one active taxi. That single account switches between the manager dashboard and the driver view, because for an owner-driver they are the same person. Belgian road sheet generation and export are included.

When would I have to start paying?

Accepted Answer

When you add a second person to the workspace — a second driver or a second manager — or activate a second taxi. Both are deliberate actions, and neither triggers a charge: Tomcabs blocks the action and shows you which plan covers it.

What do the paid plans cost?

Accepted Answer

Plus is €20 per month, or €220 per year, for one taxi with an unlimited team. Pro is €50 per month, or €550 per year, for up to three taxis. Companies operating four or more taxis are priced individually through the Fleet plan.

Question 6

Is there a trial on the paid plans?

Accepted Answer

New customers moving to Plus or Pro get a 30-day trial. That trial is separate from the free plan and has no effect on it — staying on the free plan involves no trial at all.

Question 7

Do I lose my data if I stay on the free plan?

Accepted Answer

No. The free plan is a permanent state rather than an expired trial, so nothing is archived, locked or deleted for staying on it. If you later upgrade, the history you built on the free plan carries over unchanged.
